Directors should focus on growth rather than day to day operations of the business. They should basically develop a process, implement it under their supvervision, and when the process stabilizes, handover to a designated person with process and training manuals.
There should also be built-in mechanism to do make process improvements and subsequenly update process and training manuals.
Director's Daily Schedule
- Take stock of what happened yesterday, last week, last month, last year - reporting
- Review current orders and assign tasks accordingly
- Review any urgent matters requiring attention. Goal is to eliminate urgent matters by developing appropriate processes and trainings.
