- Check Stock - check if the material is available in stock.
- Full availability
- Partial availability
- PO - place Purchase Order if the material is a traded item and needs to be purchased directly from supplier
- Receive from Supplier - this stage is to remind about following up with the supplier. Once the material is received, complete the stage.
- Drawing
- Client Approval
- for murals get approval for design, depth, size and if possible pcs sizes (sometimes pcs sizes are not known)
- if pcs sizes are not immediately available, the stage will be added again after "Size Planning".
- for name plates get approval for spellings
- Also get client comments if exact sizes are to be made or oversized pcs are required which will be cut at site.
- Procurement - check raw material availability at this stage.
- Raw material available - inform about sizes, quantity and quality to office
- Not available - check for availability in the market
- Order unavailable material and receive in factory
- Transfer - transfer raw material as required to factory from godown
- Selection / Marking - Raw material to be checked at this stage mostly by laying. Any shortage quantity to be decided at this stage.
- Size Planning - how the required panel is to be sub-divided into sizes taking into account panel size and material availability. The objective is to reduce wastage
- Size Cutting - if required material to be either cut to exact sizes or oversize at this stage
- Programming
- CNC - maching to be done at this stage
- machined pcs to be properly marked at this stage
- Waterjet Cutting
- Laying / Quality Checking - lay and check for
- if the design is matching on the joints
- numbering is correct. or number all the pcs
- there is no variation in the pcs
- no patches
- any repairs that are to be done should be recorded
- Hand Finishing / Chamfer / Polishing / Brushing
- Order Packing Material
